The Shepherds Choir is a bunch of regular folks who love singing, playing, sharing music (old, new, original and not-so-original) and generally raising the spirit.
We share and perform everything from folk to reggae to bluegrass to old-fashioned gospel music, most of it with a focus on raising awareness and increasing love in the world. We are always eager to learn something new!
Members include computer programmers, accountants, housewives, carpenters, corporate vice presidents, farmers, and people who love singing in a church choir. We blend voices and keyboards, guitars, and any off-the-wall items that find their way to us, to create that famous Shepherds sound, just by being channels to allow the music to express itself through us.
We rehearse once a week. If you are looking for an opportunity to participate in our community in a musical way, please feel free to sit in on one of our jam sessions and find out if you'd like to join us!
If you are already a Shepherds Choir member or were a member, or just interested in what we're doing in Saipan, feel free to join our Discussion Board System.
Jam/rehearsal sessions are held every Wednesday night, 8:00pm at Kristo Rai Parish, Garapan. Dinner is also FREE!... sometimes!
We also organize lots of social events outside of rehearsals - sports fest, barbeques, parties, anything you can think of.
We're not just a choir! :)
